Here's a good trick. In Dublin you know a bar is worth drinking in if it has a nickname. Dubliners are affectionate folk and they grow attached to the places they frequent. The “Cobbler” is a traditional music bar in a working class neighbourhood full of no-nonsense drinkers, wannabe comedians, long-haired blow-ins from the country and street sweeping poets who've never set foot outside of North Dublin.
