The Redeemer’s Feast (Festa del Redentore in Italian) is one of the most pictoreque and traditional feasts in the region of Veneto. Its history dates back to 1577 to celebrate the end of a massive plague outbreak, celebrated with the built of the stunning church of the same name on the Giudecca Island.
Today its religious and cultural origins are melt into a unique event featuring the celebration of the Holy Mass followed by fireworks, well-known to all of Italy, boat parades and Venetian-style abundant dinners all while waiting for the pyrotechnic show to begin.

The event takes place in Venice, the capital of the Veneto region and is visible from many locations in the city. Generator Vencie will organise a special dinners front canal with one of the best view to ensure that guests can admire the pyrotechnic shows; reservations must be done in advance as the seats are limited, while the fireworks on the city squares are free.
