Beats N' Babes

ON the Generators stage, comes the first evening of an exciting new series, Beats ‘N Babes on October 20th. Showcasing Dublin experimental audio/visual band SYLK, creating a cinematic experience sure to impress. The unique combination of an ambient and manipulated sound with lyrical harmony and some seriously entrancing light and cinematic visual effects produced by their own posse self titled, The SYLK COLLECTIVE is what has gained the girl-duo traction. The Irish Times’ affectionately named SYLK one of their “New Artist of the Week” over this summer. The night flourishes on full of boogie frenzy with OLIVIA CHAU and ALI DAY LEE (DIE Club nights, Limerick) mixing some house, disco, and 80-90’s tune sure to keep Friday night bopping the way it should.
