THESE ARE THE GIGS TO SEE IN BERLIN THIS MARCH

See the legendary Lydia Lunch do her thing at the Frannz Club

Berlin is shaping up to be jam-packed with great gigs this March, so here’s what you need to see. First, go see German indietronica two-piece Ms. John Soda at Kantine am Berghain on 2 March – if you’re a fan of somber electronic music like Lali Puna, this one’s for you. Next, go see what the members of the disbanded WU LYF have been up to with their equally epic new project, LUH (funnily enough, it sounds a bit like WU LYF); you can catch them at Kantine am Berghain on 4 March.

For something more pacey, check out Boston’s Palehound, a band that sometimes sounds like Pixies and sometimes sounds like Devo, if Devo made folk music – they’re good, basically. Also in Berlin that month is the legendary writer/poet/actress/singer Lydia Lunch who you might remember from Sonic Youth’s “Death Valley ‘69”. To see her in the flesh, head to Frannz Club on 12 March. Get booking!
