RESERVATIONS & GROUPS CO-ORDINATOR

About the role:
As a Reservations & Groups Co-ordinator, you will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Handle all reservations (individual & groups)
  • Follow-up and conversion of bookings in accordance with budget
  • Negotiate group quotes, cancellations and upselling
  • Manage billing, deposits, PMS and payments
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients & agents
  • Respond to e-mail and telephone enquiries in a positive and personalised manner ensuring the best customer service at all times
  • Familiarise yourself with daily rates, special offers, and other information that has been communicated to ensure consistency within the team
  • Promote and up-sell Generator Hostel facilities, beds and other revenue generating services as effectively as possible at every opportunity
To be successful in the role, you need:
  • To be fluent in Italian, English and have knowledge of Spanish
  • To have two years’ experience within a hotel reservations environment
  • To have effective time management and organization skills & ability to handle high volume of bookings
  • To be able to demonstrate a passion for delivering excellent customer service
  • To have a genuine interest and enthusiasm for what you do
  • Ability to build effective working relationships at all levels with diverse groups of colleagues in a way that appears natural and effortless
