YOU WILL:
  • Report to the Head Chef  
  • Work well independently or with the team and take full ownership of our Food Offering
  • OWN GUEST COMPLAINTS AND RESOLVE THEM YOURSELF. YOU SOLVE THE PROBLEMS, YOU CREATE THE SOLUTIONS
  • Give input to the Head Chef on menu creativity with the courage to try something different and deliver innovative, locally inspired food & beverage offerings appropriate to the guest community.
  • Keep up to date with local food trends
  • Carry out all preparatory tasks ensuring good quality produce at all times
  • Know your city, its cafes/bars and restaurants
  • Assist the Head Chef to exceed the budgeted departmental P&L
  • Operate a clean hygienic kitchen at all times.
  • Ensure that you remain compliant with all local food hygiene legislation
YOU HAVE:
  • Experience working within the food industry (minimum 3 years)
  • A genuine interest and enthusiasm for food and service
  • A passion for trending Food concepts in Barcelona and elsewhere
  • Intermediate English
