  • Build and lead a great team of people that get Generator and want to be themselves.
  • Inspire and lead the team to achieve excellence in the areas of Rooms, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Security.
  • Take ownership of the guest journey to ensure that we create a truly unique Generator experience.
  • Ensure that our social spaces embody the Generator brand and culture.
  • Help the team create and deliver the budgeted P&L.
  • Control payroll and all costs by understanding market conditions, forecasts and business on the books to maximise departmental income.
  • Be commercially savvy in exploring new revenue streams.
  • Have a comprehensive knowledge of, and ensure compliance with all statutory local legislation and regulation, in particular, H&S, employment law and Fire Safety.
  • Negotiate and monitor service level agreements with local contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure all site level HR support is delivered and compliant
  • Communicate effectively and appropriately in all directions so that the team understands its goals and is motivated to achieve them.
  • Ensure  that there is always a responsible person (duty manager) onsite.
