Generator x Carnival
Last year Generator celebrated the opening of its Venice property by collaborating on the inaugural Venice Kitsuné Club Night. Following on from this success Generator is thrilled to host a VIP party on 28th February. The event will feature a fine selection of DJs from the esteemed French record label Kitsuné. Oliver Nelson and duo LOGO will be on the decks on night from 7pm – 2am. Due to lots of interest in this exclusive event it is guestlist only. We have a limited space available, first come, first serve. Email requests to email@example.com
Logo is a young-and-upcoming Parisian duo that grew up during the 90s’. They embody a mysterious concept consisting in giving up to pop consumerism. We are talking about one of the most exciting rising artists from the French electro scene. They’re well-known for their stage performance, from Melbourne to London through Tokyo or Berlin. Their mix between techno blitzkrieg, radiant coldwave, warm house and italo-disco makes people sweat –literally. That is why famous DJs such as Agoria, Boys Noize, Busy P or Carls Cox, to name a few, did not hesitate to playlist them.
Logo have kept busy after the release of their first EP “La Vie Moderne” in 2010, composing, starting new collaborations with two of the coolest Swedish girls Icona Pop and touring all around France and Europe, notably with the Kitsuné Club Night roaster!
Their 5th EP, “Cardiocleptomania” was released in April 2013. Mixing convulsive piano and sub-bass, Logo are making a toast to EBM. Collaborations are including Para One with a surprisingly deep remix, LPZ coming straight from Paraguay to make people bounce on their bass line, and the mysterious 18+ with their “chopped and screwed” depressive version of the track.
Without a doubt, Logo is a band to follow!
23 year Swedish prodigy, Oliver Nelson started producing when he first heard D.A.N.C.E by Justice in 2007 (17 years old). Over the next 3 years he worked relentlessly until his first mix “Ce Jeu” by Yelle was born.
Justice may have been the trigger to move Oliver into producing electronic beats, but what really introduced him to music was his parents. Both his father and mother are avid music lovers. Oliver is part of the nu-breed of talent from Sweden and over the years he has crafted a very unique sound. Miixing effervescent synths and warm, fun melodies Oliver creates extremely rich productions. He’s quickly earned such a reputation – his nu-disco remixes of Justin Timberlake’s “Suit and Tie” and Naughty Boy’s “La La La” have easily ushered him into the thriving yet competitive generation of remixers and beatsmiths who’ve taken the internet by storm.
Other stunning recent remixes from Oliver include the amazing take on Portland’s “Deezy Daisy”, the indie-pop fused Mikky Echo’s “Kidz”, Kim Cesarion’s “Undressed”, Urban Cone’s “New York” and many more.
The event is guestlist only so please reply to firstname.lastname@example.org with subject “Of Horn and Feathers”. Include in email your name and number of guests.
Entrance for guests staying in Generator on the night is guaranteed.
