The Book of Mormon
The word “irreverent” is bandied around a lot in reviews of this West End play. You can expect plenty of swearing and indelicate imagery from the writers of legendary anti-establishment cartoon “Southpark”.
That said there is a message behind the banality and the music is stunningly good too and up to high London theatre standards. As you are transported from clean, cut, all American Utah to a hovel in Africa with the lead characters you may come out having had more than just a good laugh.
