Muro Festival is a free event organised by local collective Muro Arts. The day is about the blending of music and art along with alternative ways of gaining something new. It is a sharing and participatory experience, altering slightly the familiar and successful flea market concept and adding elements uncommonly found in Ireland let alone Dublin.
Smithfield attracts a variety of people from different backgrounds of varying age and interests. We hope to combine college students with artists, musicians, business people and those who live work and play in the surrounding area. This unique event we feel will be of benefit not just to Generator, but also to Smithfield Square, and to the creative events scene in Dublin. We are all about promoting interculturalism, social inclusion, environmental awareness, and most importantly – fun.
