It’s not all ghosts and vampires in October – back into the sunlight with some fresh air to brush away the cobwebs. The sound of cheering supporters and the pounding of thousands of feet on the streets of Dublin will certainly make you forget any dreams of ghosts and dark deeds. The whole of the city will be turning out to encourage the runners both professional and amateur around the course.
The most exciting part to watch will probably be the start finish straight along Fitzwilliam Street. Other good spots to glimpse the runners will be Merrion Square, Phoenix Park and St Stephen’s Green. This is a popular race in the circuit and you can be guaranteed to see some well known faces in running circles like last year’s winners Geoffrey Ndungu and Magdalene Mukunzi both from Kenya.
