Dublin Dance Festival
For nearly two weeks in May Dublin is transformed into an amazing dance studio. Internationally known choreographers and performers are mixed in with emerging and local talent which showcases the best in the world of the dance.
Highlights from the programme include the Stravinsky Evening at Abbey Theatre, which celebrates the 100th anniversary of the infamous first performance of Rite of Spring by the Ballets Russes in Paris in May 1913 (which caused a riot!). Also worth catching is the Re-presenting Ireland series at the DanceHouse which shows the best new talent from Ireland.
