A warm, early autumn evening, the stars just peeping out of the late twilight dusk then suddenly a rush of drums and guitars split the calm tranquil air. Friday’s Rock at Tivoli and September sees the final throes of a summer music fest of luscious proportions. This month there are three concerts each with a different music genre. First is a tribute to 25 years of Danish rap and the anniversary of the debut album of MC Einars. Second are two Danish singer song writers, Christian Hjelm and Søren Huss, who have been taking their indie rock sound and going it alone. The last gasp is a tremendous set from two Danish electro rock bands VETO and The Floor is Made of Lava.
