Are you on the edge of your seat and clapping for every entry? It is difficult not to get caught up in the pageantry and sparkle of the Eurovision Song Contest and if you happen to be in Copenhagen during May your luck is in as this is the host country for 2014 and #joinus is the message.

Last year’s winner Danish singer Emmelie de Forest is planning a sing along on the night to get the crowd in the mood. She has penned a brand new song which she will perform on stage with all 26 finalists before the voting results come in. Here is a sneak preview of “Rainmaker”.
If the Eurovision contest has you feeling romantic then why not grab your other half and get hitched in Copenhagen? The city is offering couples, both straight and gay, the opportunity to get married in the final 10 day run up to the contest; you do have to bring your own partner though!
The venue, Refshaleøen, will have been completely transformed from run-down former industrial area right at the edge of the mouth of the harbour river to a Eurovision wonderland. There will be spectacular views across the water to the main city– definitely not a case of nul points!
