Paul Van Dyk presents We Are One Festival
The host with the most is DJ legend Paul van Dyk who lined up some top DJ’s and acts to play alongside him at the festival.
Here is a selection of some acts you can expect to see:
Although you will probably know this guy best for his mainstream hit “Call On Me“ he is now a top music producer and heads up 3 well respected underground labels.
Maarten de Jong
This Dutch trance genius famously remixed the Coldplay track “The Scientist” and gained him some pretty huge international attention. Maarten has worked closely with Paul van Dyk on a number of projects including closing for Paul Van Dyk during the Evolution World Tour at Escape in Amsterdam in early 2012.
From strangely unmusical beginnings Chris Bekker has discovered a passion for the decks and is now a top flight DJ. He rubs shoulders with big names like Tom Novy, Phil Fuldner, Moguai and Trentemoeller.
This English DJ has, like Maarten de Jong, had massive success with a famous remix. Genix took the song “By The Way” by the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, remixed it into a track called “Waiting 4″ and hit number 1 before the original was released in the UK charts! His other claim to fame is holding the world record for the longest DJ set at 84 hours and has an entry in the Guinness Book of Records.
To get to Spandau get the S42 from Berlin LandsbergerAllee which is just around the corner from Generator Prenzlauer Berg. Then change to the U7 bus at Jungfernheide and there is a U-bahn stop about 5 minutes walk from the Zitadelle. It should take about 40 minutes in total.
