Berlin Mitte Opening Party – Evolution
The Big Mitte is having it’s opening party. Evolution. Live graffiti artists lurking deep underground. A Neon light installation or two because, well, who doesn’t like pretty lights? Five DJ’s dishing out an addcitive mishmash of Techno & house. Fill your bellies with morsel or two from Bite Club – Italian, French, Mexican, take your pick. Liquor time and sample a tasty concoction of cocktails just itching to be drunk by you at the bar. Get to know Guts for Change, they’ll give you the low down on their charity projects and don’t leave without a snap with Carlsberg to spread the love on the #genberlin Twitter/Instagram feed. We could go on but we want to leave some surprises.
Evolution is coming and you could be a part of it. We’ve got a limited number of free tickets on offer. Send your name, age and number of tickets to firstname.lastname@example.org for the chance to get a bunch for you and your pals. If you want free flights & accommodation instead then this comp has got your name all over it (closes Friday so get in quick).
All’s left is to descend the lift into the madness below.

About Guts for change
Guts for Change was created by people between ages 25-35, who have cycled from Berlin to India, and have filmed their trip. Once they arrived in India they set up a charity project building dry toilets in Garade villaga, India, to help with increasing the hygiene and prevent diseases. Generator will support the project by donating €0.05 per bed sold in Berlin Mitte.
About Urban Art Clash
Urban Art Clash are becoming an in-house residency of ours. As a group of international artists with the main base in Berlin, they focus on urban art related projects around the world and have a very strong network in the scene. Urban Art Clash will run interactive art projects on the night that happen in different areas of the event. There might even be a free tote bag with their very graphics sketch on for you lucky lot.
Klebebande / Tape Art consists of 3 artists from the Berlin street art scene. ‘Our installations of all kinds with tape (Gaffa, crepe, insulation, plastic, etc..) Arise in many different ways. Partly abstract and partly figurative, combining our different styles always with the influences and circumstances of the place of installation and the people they visit.’
