Marketing Director – Emma Benney
I love young entrepreneurial companies that are fast paced and have real vision and passion. Generator is one of the most exciting brands out there at the moment and I wanted the be part of making sure that everyone knows what we are up to and wants to be part of it too.
In a nutshell, what is your role and what does an average day consist of?
I am the Marketing Director and every day is different. As our brand is new and evolving I work closely with the creative team to develop the brand visually. The team and I are always working on a number of great brand partnership projects and developing our online strategy – watch this space. And when I’m not doing that I’m planning for all of our future developments. There is certainly always something to keep me very busy.
What makes you such an important part of the team?
You spend a lot of time at work and it should always be challenging but fun with it. I think I bring to the team my enthusiasm and motivation to succeed … as well as my marketing and brand brain.
What’s your favourite part of the job?
Working with my team. They are young, creative, full of ideas as well as the determination to deliver. They never fail to amaze me.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Phil Collins and Cornish Pasties

Small, jolly, Cornish
What’s on your iPod/ MP3 player?
Pretty varied and some rather questionable choices no doubt. Currently listening to Neon Neon.
Any hidden talents or party tricks?
So many … urm ….
What’s your tipple of choice?
A good glass of Vino or a dark and stormy
What’s your idea of a perfect day?
A day in the sun in Cornwall. Out for a horse ride, down to the beach for a walk with the dogs or a bit of kayaking (my new favourite thing) and then some great grub and drinks with friends.
Most famous person you’ve met?
Olivier Martinez – what a beautiful man
What was your childhood dream job?
Professional horse rider. Didn’t happen!
What (if any) phobias do you have?
Birds, Birds, Birds. Its not great in London with all the pigeons
