Hamburg Baby

Get to Hauptbahnhof station and you’ll find me waiting for you right outside. I can’t make it any simpler. But just incase, here’s a little extra help below.

By Train

If you are coming from Hamburg Airport simply take the S1 line to Hauptbahnhof using a one way ticket that costs €2.85 and 25 minutes later you’re at our hostel doorstep.

By Plane

The Airport is a spryly 11km/7m northwest of the city. It’s only a 20 minute drive by taxi for around about €25.

There is also a S-Bahn suburban train line which operates every 10 minutes between the airport and the central train station. Make sure you have €2.85 in your pocket and 25 minutes to spare.

… and finally here’s a little tip for all you globetrotters out there. Hamburg Bus Port is just across the street from me and that’s the central bus station of Hamburg and port for all local as well as national and international busses. It may be the easiest option of all when coming to the Generator Hostel in Hamburg.
