Generator Berlin Prenzlauer Berg is just minutes from Landsberger Allee station, located in trendy East Berlin. With trains from the airport stopping here frequently, your journey couldn’t be easier. But even the most experienced traveller needs a little help every now and again, so here are some tips.
Please note the S1/S2/S25 are not running from 16th Jan till 4th May
From the airport
From Schönefeld – Take the S9 from the airport and exit at Landsberger Allee station. Trains run every 20 minutes, tickets are €3.30 and the journey will take about 40 minutes. The hostel is just a stone’s throw from the station. From Tegel - Take the TXL Bus to Beusselstraße. At Beusselstrasse change onto the S41 and get off at Landsberger Allee station.. Busses and trains run every 7-10 Minutes, tickets for AB Zone are € 2.70 and the journey takes about 30 minutes.
From central Station
First thing you need to do if you arrive at central station – buy a day ticket for €6.90 (Zone A,B). Then you can travel as much as you like until 3 am the following day on busses, trams and trains. From central station take any of the following trains to Ostkreuz
S5 Strausberg, Nord,
At Ostkreuz change onto the S42 and get off at Landsberger Allee station. Generator is just minutes away from the station.
From central bus station (ZOB)
From the central bus station it is a 5 minutes walk to the station Messe Nord/ICC. There you take the S41train and exit at Landsberger Allee station. The journey takes 28 Minutes and costs € 2.70 for a AB-Zone ticket
