You can catch me bang centre in the middle of Berlin. That’s my name you see-Mitte. I’m where you’ll find the best shops, street life and galleries, so I couldn’t be easier to find. But just incase here’s a few handy hints for you to follow below.

By Train

We is just a short distance away – major stations are just around the corner from the hostel. And getting from the airport by train couldn’t be simpler. There are four lines running into the centre of Berlin and it takes only 30 minutes. When you’ve arrived, trams will get you almost anywhere in the city in less than 10 minutes.

By Plane

From Schönefeld

Make sure you have €2.40 in your pocket for your one way ticket to Berlin Mitte from the airport. From the terminal walk for 5 minutes following the directions to Bahnhof Berlin Schönefeld (Train Station). Once there take the RE7 train at platform number 3 (direction Dessau/Hauptbahnhof)

When you reach station S+U Friedrichsstraße Bahnhof change to the S-train S1 direction Frohnau. Get off the train at Oranienburger Straße. You’ll now be on my street… I live at number 65

Or just get a taxi for a total of €40.

From Tegel

Make sure you have €2.40 in your pocket for your one way ticket to Berlin Mitte from the airport. Right outside the terminal catch the bus TXL direction S+U Alexander Platz via Hauptbahnhof. When you reach Oranienburger Tor step out of the bus and walk along Oranienburger Strasse, after about 5 minutes you’ll see me at number 65.

Or you can get the Taxi for approx. 22€

By Bus/S-Bahn

If you arrive in Berlin by bus, get off at the main bus station, ZOB and make sure you have €2.40 on you for a 36 minute journey to Mitte. Starting at the ZOB, walk to Berlin Mitte Nord/ ICC. From there catch the ‘Ringbahn’ S41 (circle line train).

When you reach the train station S-Bahn ‘Wedding’ change into the Underground U6 direction Alt-Mariendorf

When you reach Oranienburger Tor step out of the train and walk along Oranienburger Straße, after about 5 minutes you will reach me at number 65

But… you could just take the easy option and jump in a taxi for around €20
