#Regenerate14 | eVe Without Adam go behind the scenes Vol.2
All photography by Meike Lesley Neumann
It’s here, tonight is the night. #Regenerate14 kicks off from 9pm tonight so if you’re in Berlin, you might want to stop by Generator Berlin Mitte. In the meantime, here are some more exclusive previews from eVe Without Adam.
Through some further paths and elevators, passing a single room which the painter Juan Miguel Pozo Cruz will live in during the weekend and invite the visitors to conversations, we end up in the not quite finished attic. Here the French have moved in. The sun shines and the open space with the huge terrace, invites your mind to want to move in.
We meet the beautiful Jean. Her room was darkened and from the ceiling hung four large canvases, almost levitating. In a brief conversation she tells us about her project where the visitor is invited on a road trip. The staggered canvases and projections, which were barely perceptible to us, promise a three-dimensional experience for the mind.
A total of eight different artists were chosen by The Lab Magazine. Darya Kosilova, the art and photography editor based in Los Angeles, leads us from one installation to the next, tells us about the artists as if they had become friends. Among other things, she raves about the interesting geometric figures of the French Fanette Guilloud. A slight sketch was the only revealing element, nothing more.
Before we head out we get our own copies of “The Lab Magazine”, on the cover Marina Abramovic and Antony (from Antony and the Johnsons) and are quite impressed by what could become one of our favourite art magazines in the future. Tomorrow is the official opening, starting from 9PM and we are looking forward to seeing the final pieces.
