#Regenerate14 | eVe Without Adam go behind the scenes Vol.1
All photography by Meike Lesley Neumann
The clock’s ticking and our artists are hard at work for tomorrow’s launch. The ladies over at eVe Without Adam stopped by for a sneak peak as the artists build away. Get your inside scoop below!
Imagine a super fancy hostel right in the centre of Berlin. The well-known Oranienburger Straße is where it’s happening, right across from the famous Postamt, which in its high times was not only one of the city’s best photography galleries but also fed a night club in which already Jude Law wined and dined. Restaurants, bars, strip clubs and the known sex workers in their corsets still make this street one of the most vibrant ones.
From the outside a modern building, from the inside it seemingly includes an infinite number of hidden paths that lead to premises in which the concept revolves around sharing space.
Bringing to life #REGENERATE14 together with The Lab Magazine, an eVent by Generator starting tomorrow eVening around the concept of Social Sustanability, we were able to visit the location today as one the very first guests.
First stop was the dismounted cellar which the Irish artist Maser has transformed into a living room of stripes. Brightly coloured and equipped with a bar, guests will be invited to become part of the artwork and interact with it.
From the cellar we were brought through another secret path into the parking garage of the building, which will become a dance floor overnight. We saw the location in a semi-finished state. The light was on and only the own fantasy can reveal how great the seemingly simply knotted neon straws, by David Olge, will look in the UV light scenario once the lights go off. If now we even imagine the sound of the Berlin based DJ Sarah Farina, who will be playing among others at the big bash on Saturday, it can only be an explosion of the senses.
