Miss it Miss out 26/07
Let’s see what’s crackalacking this week…
Friday in Berlin is day one of their German-American Folk Festival. They’ll be music, food and even a beach to kick back on. For something arty the talented Thoms Skou will be exhibiting ‘The Long Way Home’ right on your doorstep at Generator Berlin Mitte. His images of vintage vehicles, nostalgic Americana-style motels and intimate snapshots of people he’s met along the road are breath taking. Definitely something special and a one off we would highly recommend. Enough of Berlin, if you’re cruising London this Friday get your Bassface on at Generator London. Electro, House, Techno, Dubstep, Drum’n’Bass & everything in between.
Check out our Indie Party at generator Barcelona. Guest DJ Nacho Ruiz and award winning Pin&Pon DJ’s will keep you dancing. Fancy a Summer BBQ then Generator Copenhagen is your man this Saturday. Meat and all you can eat on all the trimmings. Don’t miss Arman Giorgio over at Generator Dublin. His 8 till late stitch up is well worth it.
For a dose of London culture, swing by the V&A for a great exhibition on London fashion through the 80’s. If you’re on the hunt for a cheap afternoon in Copenhagen, Christiania puts on free concerts at café Nemoland. For you lucky lot in Hamburg, this Sunday is Astra day, in other words a massive festival over at St Pauli Landungsbrücken. Who says Sunday is a day of rest.
It’s not all about the weekend and there’s a load of merrymaking to fit in this coming week. Mosy on down to Generator London to see The Howling next Tuesday evening. They’re a punk rock electronic band who take stage presence to another level. Over at Generator Copenhagen our famous bar crawl kicks off at 8.15pm on Thursday evening. We’ll hand you a free shot in every bar so we’ll be seeing you there. In Dublin you can scrub up on your languages at Lets Talk, also on a Tuesday. And finally, why not take it easy in Hamburg and drop by the Kunsthalle Gallery for some abstract art from Jean Leppian, any day of the week.
