What have we got in store for you this week…

City guide

There’s  a chance to see all the big names of the art world in Copenhagen this weekend. Their Nordic Art fair kicks off on Friday and more than 50 national and international galleries will be featuring. The joy being you can see the best bits from each gallery without having to go to all 50! Pretty efficient if we don’t say so ourselves. In Dublin they have a newbie of a festival but what it lacks in experience it makes up in line up. It goes by the name of Electric Picnic and it will be doused with the likes of Fat Boy Slim, Artic Monkeys and Bjork.

In London, Foodie or not, The Real Food Market at the Southbank centre is nothing but lovely. You can catch it this Saturday and it’s a real try before you buy kinda joint. Have a taster or ten and you’ll be full before you know it. For something to fill your evening in London make the most of the iTunes festival at the roundhouse. Tickets are free but you’ve got to win them to get your paws on them. Good luck!

This Sunday’s see’s the Historical Regatta taking over the Venice canals. Boy will this be one grand event. Stand back in awe as boats with decorations dating back to the 16th century swan past you. Not only that but they’ll be manned by a fully costumed crew to really paint you a picture. It will be nothing but magnificent. The best bit about staying at generator Copenhagen this Sunday is our Chillax sundays. All that’s involved is Fifa, beer, popcorn and films. Aint nothing more to say on that one – see you there!

The Weekdays…

Monday is a big day at Generator Barcelona as our gallery see’s the opening of the ‘Sole Mare’ exhibition from 13Pulsions. Tuesday is day one of Berlin Music Week. There’s big names on the horizon with the likes of the Petshop Boys, Röyksopp and SebastiAn and My Bloody Valentine. It will be filling the streets and clubs of the bohemian Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district. Trust us it’s a must. For something a tad more cultural this coming Wednesday then head to Berlin’s Literature week. Last but not least the ONLY thing to do on a Thursday night in Copenhagen is to head to our Generator Bar Crawl. Kicks off at 8.15 sharp. Get yourselves down there!

That’s a rap.
