Miss it Miss out 15/08

Superstar DJ, here we go…

Weekly Guide

Friday

If you’re in Berlin this Friday, you definitely need to check out the first night of their dance festival. It’s on for two weeks and our tip would be to watch the Trisha Brown Dance Company. For all of you in Barcelona, Mas i Mas will be going head first through the city. It’s a 2 month festival and a real mish mash of an experience, in both music and location. There’s Jazz, techno, rock and more so it really is one for the masses. Our lovely Generator London has it’s Bassface on for yet another Friday, so we say you start there this weekend!

Saturday

It’s all about the hostels this Saturday. Burn Party will be kicking off at Generator Copenhagen and that means one thing. DJ Mono Future!  Here’s a taster: (https://soundcloud.com/djmonofuture). Generator Hamburg next for a Nice ‘n’ Sleazy Saturday. Over in Berlin get a slice of ‘The Long Way Home’, Thomas Skou’s exhibition, which will only be staying at Generator Berlin Mitte for 10more days!

Sunday

We’re feeling Sunday should be spent taking it easy and soaking up some city culture. Those of you in London, take a little trip to Carnival Del Pueblo at the Coronet. If we could only pick one, Dominican Republic’s Fulanito would be the thing to see and a free Latin dance class would the thing to do there. If you’re spending the weekend in Venice, you can combine Doge’s Palace with a bit of Manet as his work is being exhibited in the palace. For something a little  more lively, Generator Dublin will be hosting Gaelic Games to keep you up and about all day and night. You can do it troopers.

The Weekdays…

This Thursday come and say hello at our Rocking Rainbow Party, part one of our Copenhagen Pride celebrations! Swing by for DJ’s Bronx & Ashibah, MEAT and all the Rainbow shots you want. Don’t worry boys, we’ll have beer too. Over at Generator Dublin, spend your Monday night brushing up on your cult film curriculum. Be sure to check out the selection on our facebook and twitter. For some evening fun in London, pay the Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House a visit. It’s a pop up so make the most of it whilst it’s there!

Been to an event? Tell us about it at https://twitter.com/GeneratorHostel. Or have a gander at each hostel’s own personal twitter page to get the local chitchat.

It’s been a pleasure …
