If you miss it, you’ll miss out.

Wander through the magical Nyhavn Christmas Market in Copenhagen. Stall after stall selling sweet pancakes, smoked cheese, mulled wine and Belgian waffles. Our mouths are already watering. It’s perfect for prezzies and there’s none of that miscellaneous touristy rubbish that so many markets are riddled with. By night, hit up Generator Berlin Prenzlauer Berg for our latest addition, Friday Night Music Club. With every new week comes a new band. It’s the perfect party to start you off.

Right, just to make this clear, we’re definitely anti starting Christmas celebrations uber early… that said, is it kind of maybe acceptable to go ice skating in mid November? If you’re in London this Saturday, the ring outside the National History Museum is probably one of the most beautiful spots for skating in London, particularly at night. Bold statement but we’re pretty sure you’ll agree. You can neck a mulled wine for afters and then wander round the museum itself (Book tickets here). Moving over to Barcelona and it’s Arctic Monkeys time. With a new album came a new sound and “why’d you only call me when your high” literally makes us shiver…in a good way.  Check them out at Pavelló Olímpic de Badalona this Saturday night.

In an ideal world all art would be free…and it would rain champagne? Clearly neither of those things can or will ever happen, but events like the Affordable Art Fair over in Hamburg make it all the more accessible and we’re grateful to them for that. The low prices can be attributed to them showcasing up and coming artists or those completely new to the art scene. Do you back yourself to spot a raw talent? Sunday’s it’s last day so make the most of it.

The Weekdays…

Mr Etienne Curron will be delighting Generator Dublin this coming Monday. Every week his soulful vocals and saxophone warm your cockles and take you straight back to the 1950′s era of jazz and swing. If your looking for a fun Monday night, hit up The BIG Berliner Trivia night at Generator Berlin Prenzlauer Berg. Muster up your team, decide on a name and come and get your geek on.
